Life feels like a lot.
You might feel stuck—caught in messy relationship patterns with people you care about, carrying pain from trauma or trying to find your place in a blended family. It’s okay to feel lost or uncertain about what comes next.
With work stress and family demands, your plate is already overflowing with emotional overload—plus a side of frustration—leaving no room to breathe. The tension keeps building. Even simple conversations feel emotionally charged or misunderstood, and you’re left wondering: How did I get here?
You second-guess your action. You replay arguments. You feel guilty for not being able to “fix” it. Some days bring hope… other days feel like you’re walking on eggshells. The emotional ups and downs leave you drained and unsure if things will ever truly change.
You’ve tried to make things better and the same patterns keep repeating—miscommunication, emotional distance, unresolved hurt. It’s exhausting.
Underneath it all, you know something needs to shift. Taking the first step can feel overwhelming. You wonder if things will get worse or if you’re not ready for the change you’re wanting.
Everyone faces difficulties. It’s a natural part of life. You are not broken. Reaching out for support is an act of self-compassion, opening the door for healing and growth.

Hi, I’m Loralynne.
MY PHILOSOPHY
Relationships have the power to support us—and also stretch us. They offer love, connection, and belonging, but can also bring up pain, disconnection, or old patterns—especially when we’re navigating trauma that lingers, relationship wounds, or the complexities of a blended family.
I’ve been there, and I believe meaningful connection starts with self-awareness.
I’m here to help you explore the push and pull moments of your life and reconnect—with yourself and the people who matter most.
I believe the key to achieving meaningful connection starts within—through connecting to our own inner strengths and keeping our “emotional needs” bucket full.
We all have an “emotional needs” bucket — it holds our energy, feelings, and capacity to connect.
When life pulls from that bucket — through stress, conflict, or simply the demands of daily living — it can start to run low.
Therapy helps you recognize what drains your bucket, what fills it back up, and how to protect it — so you can show up fully, more present and grounded in your life.
I’m trained in EMDR and have advanced training in a Salutogenic approach to trauma, which focuses on what supports healing — not just what caused your pain. I am also trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (for individuals), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and draw from Attachment Theory and Motivational Interviewing.
While the therapeutic tools matter, what equally matters is developing a therapeutic relationship — then together, we’ll find the approach that fits you, so your healing feels supportive, personal, and centered on what you truly need.
MY SPECIALTIES
I work with individual men and women and I’m here to help you take the first step toward healing, understanding and building stronger connections.
-
Difficult relationships can be emotionally draining, leaving you feeling unheard, stuck or disconnected.
Transforming relationships into something more meaningful takes time— built on trust, respect and empathy. In our work together, we’ll explore the patterns that keep you at a crossroads and help you reconnect with love, respect and exploring your emotional needs, laying the foundation for relationships that provide connection, commitment and mutual recommitment.
-
Trauma—whether recent or long past—can show up in our lives in both subtle and powerful ways, impacting our emotional, mental, and physical well-being. It can reshape the way we think and respond, often pushing us into survival mode.
The trauma healing journey involves reworking patterns and restoring our natural ability to connect with ourselves and others. I use a Salutogenic approach and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) as a gentle, supportive process to help with this healing. Together we’ll take this journey step by step, with time, patience and self compassion, ultimately building resilience, peace and stronger, more meaningful connections in your relationships.
-
Blending a family can be an emotional journey, full of challenges and uncertainty as everyone adjusts to new dynamics.
Together, we’ll work to build a strong foundation—one that’s shaped by your family’s unique values, needs and hopes. We will focus on the key elements that support healthy relationships, emphasizing patience, understanding and compassion. I’ll help you foster open communication about feelings and needs, creating a more connected supportive family environment.
